Staff and students from the Space Science Center will have telescopes set up in the baseball field, across the road from Liberty Pool on August 31st. We will begin at 8:30 pm with a presentation by Dr. Williams on objects in the fall evening skies, then (weather permitting) move to a tour of the night sky, and close-ups with the telescopes. As the night sky darkens, we will try to find harder-to-see objects. The phase of the Moon will also be Waning Crescent making it easier to find more dim objects.
